Lascar‑I: 10th pass, swimming ability, 1 year vessel experience
Fireman (Boat Crew): 10th pass, swimming ability, pre‑sea training certificate
Topass: 10th pass, swimming ability
2. What is the age limit and are there relaxations?
Applicants must be between 18–25 years, with age relaxation for reserved categories: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years) .
3. What is the pay scale for each post?
Syrang of Lascars: Pay Level 4 (₹25,500–₹81,100)
Lascar‑I, Fireman & Topass: Pay Level 1 (₹18,000–₹56,900)
